DJ Psycho has a compact game field. It consists of four reels arranged in a 4×4 format. There are no lines for forming winning combinations. Combinations are formed using the Cluster Pays principle. A cluster consists of at least three identical symbols appearing in adjacent positions, horizontally or vertically.
There is no limit on the maximum number of symbols in a combination, but wins are awarded only for the first 40. Moreover, the symbols in a cluster disappear, and new ones fall into their place. The total number of identical symbols from different combinations is summed. For example, if a cluster of 4 pink squares forms and disappears, followed by a new cluster of 3, the player wins for 7 pink squares.
In DJ Psycho, the following symbols may appear:
- low-paying symbols are represented as ordinary squares in blue, purple, green, yellow, and pink;
- high-paying symbols are displayed as colorful squares featuring various images.
Each winning symbol initially has a specific color, but functional images allow players to add a second color. This enables the same symbol to participate in two clusters.
Bonus Game, Special Symbols
The slot features several special symbols to enhance winnings:
- xKnob — a Wild that increases the winning multiplier by x1;
- Break — adds an extra color to adjacent symbols above, below, left, and right;
- Bite — adds color to images placed diagonally;
- Drop — when two of these symbols appear, all images along the shortest path between them change to a random color;
- xBpm — acts as a Wild, dividing all symbols in a row into two.
To the right of the reels is the Beat Bar widget. It displays scales for each symbol color. As combinations form, the corresponding scale gradually fills and increases the multiplier. There are two types of bonus games in DJ Psycho. The first is called Gees! Spinz. To activate it, all scales in the Beat Bar must be filled with at least three cells.
